More than 35 years research experience and managerial skills. Successfully conducted challenging program/ projects in the field of substance abuse and HIV, handled large scale demographic data and also good exposure to ethnographic technique. Strong in visualizing and developing community level intervention and modality in treatment, recovery & after care services. Good in conceptualization in health and social problems related to substance abuse and preventive strategy. More than 50 Research papers in the field of substance abuse/HIV published in national/ international journals covering areas of epidemiology, socio-cultural perspectives, health education intervention and community-based intervention program. Attended many international conferences in USA, Canada, Malaysia, a Denmark, Uganda and South Korea on social research in drug/ alcohol abuse. At present working with a grass-root level organization in the management of alcohol/drug related problems and empowerment of afflicted women and children.
